My interview for the What Happened Next series on WeAreTechWomen

The What Happened Next series from WeAreTheCity is a series of articles following on from the awards and showcases what has happened in my career since winning the TechWomen100 Award.

2022 TechWomen100 Awards are open for nominations until 12 August. To encourage people to nominate, I sat down with WeAreTheCity as one of their TechWomen100 alumni and spoke with them how the award has helped me and why I would encourage other people to nominate someone.

Please tell us what has happened in your career since winning the TechWomen100 award?

  • Since winning the TechWomen100 award, I developed into a sound Senior Strategy Leader in technology by being promoted into a senior role at McKinsey Digital, building and leading digital functions with high performing global teams.
  • I developed into a known thought leader in technology by being invited to over five speaking engagements with more than 15,100 attendees, showcasing the value of digital capabilities to a wider audience.
  • Besides the TechWomen100 award, I was recognised with the prestigious WomenTech Global Awards by the WomenTech Network, three-times shortlisted as Women in Tech Award Finalist, and nine-times nominated for the Women’s Leadership Awards.

I would also encourage all of you to pay it forward and nominate someone amazing! You can nominate an amazing woman, Champion, Network, and Company via the TechWomen100 website.
